Bookings are available as normal, however the capacity and maximum table sizes have been changed in order to comply with restrictions. Booking a table in advance is highly recommended at all times in order to avoid disappointment.
Due to the seating plan forced upon us by government guidelines, priority will be given to groups of 4+ guests. Following revised government guidelines, the current maximum table size we can accommodate is 6 guests. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accommodate pushchairs.
Tables must consist of guests from a maximum of one household or support bubble. We will continue to concentrate our staff's time on maintaining our high levels of hygiene, service and customer experience. We trust that our customers will act responsibly and make the safe decision when booking with us, with this in mind by entering our premises you agree that your party are aware of, and abiding by the current guidelines.
By booking with us you also confirm the members of your group are not showing any symptoms of COVID-19, are not in a household or support bubble with someone who has symptoms, and are not currently being advised to self-isolate by the NHS.
Please note that we will only hold tables for a maximum of 20 minutes, after this time we cannot guarantee your reservation. Your table will be reused after 2 hours. We also ask you to leave your table in good time before the next booking arrives, for us to be able to thoroughly sanitise the area for the next table.
Please note that we are unable to book two tables for guests from the same group to sit next to each other. Increased distance between tables and new screen dividers simply make conversations between tables impossible, which may present situations where tables break the social distancing rules in place. This could then put us in a difficult situation to keep all other customers and staff safe.
In accordance with legal requirements, we kindly ask that all members of your party wear a face mask upon arrival, and at all times when not seated at your table, such as when using the bathroom or leaving the premises.
On arrival at Street a QR code will be on display, we ask that all guests use the NHS app to check-in to the venue and assist with potential contact tracing.
Menus will be paper and will be disposed of after use. We will be operating a slightly reduced menu, however gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options will still be available. Advance booking is recommended for our Sunday Roasts to avoid disappointment.
Food will be available in-house, for collection orders placed over the phone or for takeaway orders placed in the restaurant.
Ordering & Service
As per government guidance, all areas will now be seated only. All orders must be taken at the table by one of our dedicated waiting staff, at this time customers will not be able to place orders at the bar. Contactless payment is strongly encouraged.
Street will still be open for collection orders on 02476 995 702 during standard opening hours, for all collection orders we will require payment over the phone with your card.
For all Street staff it will be mandatory to wear masks. Legal requirements also mean that all guests should wear masks upon arrival, and at all times when not seated at tables, such as when using the bathroom or leaving the premises.
Sanitising stations are placed throughout the premises for both customers and staff. Touch points and surfaces will be sanitised by staff frequently and every table will be thoroughly cleaned down before a new customer is seated. Tables will be clear of any settings, with fresh cutlery provided as required.
Please note that although capacity is reduced, service may be slower than usual in order for us to maintain safety & hygiene standards, so please bear with us during any delays. We can’t wait to see you all again soon!
